L.E.B. Electric is proud to have completed our work with Hunter Roberts Construction Group on the 15,000-square-foot Emergency Department renovation at Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside.
This complex project was completed in phases while the surrounding Emergency Department remained fully operational. It was essential for our team to carefully remove existing electrical services and install new systems without disrupting critical patient care.
The result is a modernized emergency care environment featuring:
• 4 trauma rooms
• 44 patient treatment rooms
• CT and radiography rooms
• Human decontamination area
• Nurses stations
• Staff and EMS lounges
• Essential support spaces
L.E.B. Electric’s scope included new electrical panels and transformers, power distribution, temporary and permanent fire alarm systems, lighting and controls, voice and data wiring, security and access control, cameras, and nurse call systems.
We’re proud of the work our team put into this important project and grateful to everyone who helped bring it across the finish line.

Another project in the books for the L.E.B. Electric team! Our team recently worked at Howitt Middle School in the Farmingdale School District, installing underground conduit to support future service upgrades that will help supply power throughout the entire building.
This project was a great example of teamwork in action. We worked alongside Stasi, the civil contractor responsible for excavation and restoration, to make sure the work was completed safely and efficiently from start to finish.
Projects like this may happen underground, but the impact will be felt throughout the building for years to come. We’re proud to play a role in helping prepare Howitt Middle School for the future.

On May 18, 2025, Fortuna was diagnosed with Grade 4 Glioblastoma, one of the most aggressive forms of brain cancer. Through an unimaginable challenge, she has continued to show incredible strength, courage and faith, and her resilience is an inspiration to us and everyone around her.
Now, we hope you’ll join L.E.B. Electric in supporting Fortuna and her family while helping make a difference for other families facing cancer.

Two years of planning, coordination, craftsmanship and hard work came together to get this incredible healthcare project done. L.E.B. Electric recently completed our work on the new NYU Ambulatory Surgical Center at 196 East Main Street in Patchogue, a 56,720-square-foot, state-of-the-art outpatient and multi-specialty medical facility.
Working alongside General Contractor EW Howell, our team helped bring this complex facility to life from the ground up. From six state-of-the-art operating rooms and four endoscopy procedure rooms to 35 patient care stations, 22 private exam rooms, physicians’ offices and countless critical clinical spaces, every part of this project demanded precision, coordination and a commitment to getting it right.
Our scope included the facility’s 2,500A electrical service and main switchboard, emergency power systems, 300 kW generator, five automatic transfer switches, four UPS units, operating room isolation panels, 62 distribution/subpanels, 18 transformers, lighting and controls, fire alarm, ERRCS, lightning protection, grounding and power for the building’s extensive mechanical and medical equipment.
Our team also installed the infrastructure supporting the facility’s low-voltage, controls and building management systems. This is work that may not always be seen, but is absolutely essential to keeping a modern healthcare facility operating safely and reliably.
We’re proud of what our team accomplished and even prouder knowing this facility will help provide patients and families across Long Island with access to advanced outpatient care for years to come.

L.E.B. Electric is honored to work alongside Mather Hospital on important healthcare projects that help strengthen the facilities and services our community relies on. It is so rewarding to be part of work that goes beyond construction, helping create safe, reliable spaces where patients can receive the care they need.
We’ve made significant progress on our work at the Clean Energy natural gas fueling station in Yaphank. We’ve installed new 4-section 2000 amp switch gear to support new gas compressors and dispensers for the Town of Brookhaven’s natural gas vehicles.
