Bringing Sustainable, Affordable Senior Housing to Life in Medford

Congratulations to WellLife Network on the ribbon cutting of their new $40M affordable senior housing project on Horseblock Road in Medford. 

The project provides 67 apartments for renters age 55 and older, including supportive units for tenants exiting homelessness, with funding from New York State housing programs and local incentives. With workforce development at the forefront of this project, WellLife Network will be providing on-site support for eligible tenants such as health services, case management, crisis intervention, and vocational training.  

Construction began in April 2025, and we are honored to have played an important role in bringing sustainable features to life, such as electric heating and cooling, energy-efficient appliances, laundry facilities, and electric vehicle charging stations.

Lighting Upgrade and New Infrastructure at Wantagh Train Station

Another Long Island project in the books as our team recently completed work on parking fields WA-1 and WA-9 at the Wantagh Train Station, helping upgrade the facility with new electrical infrastructure and lighting.

Our scope included the demolition and reconstruction of the parking fields’ electrical systems, installation of new conduit and pull boxes, light pole foundations, 25-foot poles and fixtures, and all-new wiring.

The asphalt excavation and paving work was completed by Roadwork Ahead Inc. Projects like this take teamwork, coordination, and skilled trades working together to get the job done right.

Kicking Off Bridge Work on Long Island

Every great project has a starting point, and we’re getting ready to get to work. 

Our team is gearing up for a project at the Loop Parkway, Meadowbrook Parkway and False Channel bridges. Before the work begins, we’re capturing the “before” shots to document where it all starts and give you a look at what’s ahead.

Standing Together for One of Our Own

When one of our own needs a hand, you show up. That’s what you do.

Our President Bill Parker, CFO Mike Stewart, Project Manager Mike Mannino and members of the L.E.B. Electric team came together to support the Kulka Fights Cancer Party at the Top at Topgolf.

Together, the event raised $75,000 to support our friend Fortuna Feliciano and her family as she continues her fight against Stage 4 Glioblastoma.

Fortuna has spent so much of her life being there for other people. Now, it’s our turn to be there for her.

Cancer is a tough fight, but nobody should have to fight it alone. We’re proud to stand alongside Fortuna and her family and do whatever we can to help during this difficult time.

Keep fighting, Fortuna. We’ve got your back.

Emergency Department Renovation at Mount Sinai South Nassau

L.E.B. Electric is proud to have completed our work with Hunter Roberts Construction Group on the 15,000-square-foot Emergency Department renovation at Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside.

This complex project was completed in phases while the surrounding Emergency Department remained fully operational. It was essential for our team to carefully remove existing electrical services and install new systems without disrupting critical patient care.

The result is a modernized emergency care environment featuring:

• 4 trauma rooms
• 44 patient treatment rooms
• CT and radiography rooms
• Human decontamination area
• Nurses stations
• Staff and EMS lounges
• Essential support spaces

L.E.B. Electric’s scope included new electrical panels and transformers, power distribution, temporary and permanent fire alarm systems, lighting and controls, voice and data wiring, security and access control, cameras, and nurse call systems.

We’re proud of the work our team put into this important project and grateful to everyone who helped bring it across the finish line.
